So much has changed.
I understand the spiral dance now.
I am no longer the same grasping needy child I once was.
I may be like a selkies child; caught between two worlds I don’t belong in, but if that is so than half of me is human too. And humans, we adapt. We grow and we change and we try and make our world into one we can live in.
We let go, but we look back. I look back because if two lines are not perpendicular then maybe the next time they cross in the intricate dance of life they could be incredible in a way that is both different and the same than the last time they crossed.
A girl could lean back on a red couch in a musty theatre basement and nudge my hand, walk with me by the pond and never stop answering the phone.

I want a movie about a guy who runs for president and wins but then suddenly realizes that he doesn’t want to be president, so he just starts doing ridiculous things all the time trying to get impeached, but it NEVER WORKS because they always miraculously end up being the right thing to do. Like, he declares war on Canada? Next day it turns out that Canada had secret plans to nuke Washington. he bans Doritos? Turns out theyr’e the number one cause of cancer and natural disasters. He sends his vice president to jail? Turns out the VP was a terrorist in disguise. He has 100% approval rating, most popular president ever.

I’ve decided that I want him to be played by Jeff Goldblum. 

i’m frankly astonished this wasn’t a real movie in the early 90s.
